The perfect meal in Ayurveda, Kitchari, contains all six tastes, is easy to digest, is full of protein but vegetarian, does not create gas, aids in detoxification, reduces inflammation, helps to heal the gut, and supports our spiritual practices by helping to create a deeper inner calm. We will practice simple yoga asana, pranayama and meditation before learning to prepare this simple, delicious, nourishing meal both days. You will take Kitchari home with you to consume that evening as well.
