Sri Vidya is a revered Tantric tradition within Sanatana Dharma and Hinduism. It primarily focuses on the worship of the divine feminine, particularly Lalita Tripura Sundari. It is a distinct and unique spiritual tradition, often referred to as the “Path of Bliss”.

The Goddess or cosmic feminine force is called Shakti in Sri Vidya. This is generally translated as “power". This power enlivens everything from within. It is not a violent or aggressive kind of power nor is it asserted against something.
Shakti is not an external power but one’s own power. To worship Shakti is to take back one’s own power by recognizing the power of one’s consciousness.
Shakti is the power of peace or consciousness or Shiva. She is the descent of Divine grace. Mother is the Shakti that works behind all great changes in the universe and brings humans to the greatest transformation. The transformation of enlightenment.
The purpose of Sri Vidya and Tantra is to create awareness of and energize that Shakti that is dormant within us.
Sri Vidya recognizes that all of us are an integral part of a gigantic tapestry which is constantly expanding.

Lalita Tripura Sundari is the key deity for the practice of Sri Vidya. She represents the ultimate reality and union of the divine masculine, or Shiva, and the divine feminine, or Shakti.
The awakening and alignment of the chakras or energy center, are essential components of Sri Vidya. These practices aim to activate and balance the energy within the practitioner. Opening the crown chakra is the basis of Sri Vidya worship.
Worship of the Sri Chakra, which symbolizes the crown chakra, is the highest of all Tantric teachings.
